Please, DO NOT associate the MOVR layout with that of the Mid-Ohio Valley Model RR Club in Parkersburg, West Virginia. We are both separate entities, and have no relation with each other at all. The Mid-Ohio Valley Rail system is a fictional N scale model railroad that I am building in my attic. It is 25 feet/10 inches by 23 feet, over 200 square feet of layout area. One lap is 337 N scale 50' boxcars long. 7-track yard holds 120 boxcars, minus the yard leads. 4 hidden staging tracks with a combined length of 129 feet. DC powered, over 40 blocks, powered by MRC Tech4 280 transformers. The MOVR uses a mixed fleet of locomotive power, while affording CSX, Norfolk Southern, and Amtrak trackage rights. A large portion of my model railroad is recycled items that I come across daily. The cars and locomotives are the culmination of over 4 decades of collecting N scale pieces.
