YouTubeをご覧の皆さん、聖飢魔Ⅱと云う宗教団体(バンド)をご存知ですか？ 「名前だけなら･･･」 「あの顔が白い人、デーモン閣下がやってるバンドだっけ？」 「『蝋人形の館』は知ってる、でも他の曲は知らない･･･」 と云う人は多いと思います 1985年にこのバンドがデビューした際には 「何あのコミックバンド？」「あんなの３ヶ月で消えるでしょ」と散々叩かれ、デビューアルバムは音楽誌の評価でまさかの０点！ そういった逆風に揉まれながらも見た目の奇抜さの奥に有る、デーモン小暮閣下の圧倒的な歌唱力＆トーク力、他のバンドを凌駕する確かな演奏技術、楽曲の持つ独特の世界観等に気付き始めた信者(熱心なファン)を増やし、人気・知名度共右肩上がりに 1989年には ・極悪集大成教典(ベストアルバム)がオリコン１位に ・初の日本武道館ミサを開催 ・初の紅白歌合戦出場 も果たしています デビュー時の公約通り1999年を以って音楽活動を終了しバンドは解散しましたが、その後2000年代に入りインターネットの動画投稿サイト(YouTube、ニコニコ動画等)の普及により、バンドは解散したにも関わらずファンの数は更に増えると云う逆転現象が起こる事に･･･ 21世紀になってからは５年に１度のペースで期間限定再集結ミサツアーが行われている為、「YouTubeで興味を持ち、実際のミサに参拝した！」という者も少なくないのでは無いでしょうか ただ残念な事に、未だに信者では無い一般層には 「聖飢魔Ⅱ＝蝋人形の館」と云うイメージが付き纏い、払拭しきれないようです このチャンネルでは、そんな一般層に「聖飢魔Ⅱには『蝋人形の館』以外にもこんなに数多くの名曲があるんだ！」という事を知って貰う為、(主に大黒ミサのものを中心に)様々な動画を用意しております これらを観て＆聴いて、聖飢魔Ⅱが如何に素晴らしいバンドであったかを実感して頂きたい、と思います 勿論、信者歴35年を超える様な古参のユーザーも大歓迎です 「ああ、あの◯◯のミサ参拝したよ！」 「そうそう、あの曲で閣下が･･･」 「あのミサ、チケットを確保するのに苦労してさ･･･」 等、様々な思い出話を聴かせて頂ければ嬉しく思います
