Conceived in the hot summer of 1995( yes we even have a myspace account www.myspace.com/blaakyum), five years after the end of the Lebanese Civil War, and reformed with a fresh new line-up in 2007 after seven years of hiatus, Blaakyum’s sound is a unique blend of Thrash, Heavy and Groove Metal infused with Middle Eastern and Levantine folk music vibes.

Hello youtubers and welcome to my channel. The contest you will find here consists mainly of my own personal piano versions of DD biggest hits and other stuff from the '80s. I grew up listening '80s music so I've been strongly influenced by bands such as Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, Talk Talk, etc. If you are a huge fan of DD music, maybe you can find interesting this channel; lots of their covers here! I don't claim my videos are perfect. Music is a beautiful hobby where i find shelter when I need it. My name is Nikos. I'm 22 years old and I come from Greece. I began playing the drums on the age of 15 but I never thought I would be into sound engineering and sound design. Both are 2 seperate but also linked amazing worlds! I have a home studio in my home in Athens and doing all of my projects there.
