Poleg tega, da je pevec in kitarist, je prav tako skladatelj in producent z zelo širokim opusom ustvarjanja, ki zajema rock, pop, soul, R&B, jazz in klasiko, kar se odraža v edinstvenem zvoku njegove glasbe. Pri tem je njegova značilnost ta, da navdih za svoje skladbe črpa iz svojega življenja in da jih v celoti samostojno uglasbi, notno aranžira in posname.
