I've been tying flies for over 30 years. I'm a, tying instructor, as well as fly fishing instructor. The sole purpose of my tying videos is to help the beginner tier to reach a higher level of confidence in their fly tying skills. While giving the experienced tier some new ideas for designing their own flies. I welcome any and all questions and requests you might have, so please don't be afraid to ask. I'm here to help.

Геленджик был основан в 1831 году как укрепление Черноморской береговой линии. В 1839 году прибыл иеромонах с двумя причётниками, силами которых был построен деревянный храм с небольшой колокольней. В марте 1854 года укрепление Геленджик, как и другие укрепления Черноморской береговой линии, было снято, а само укрепление, все дома в нём и церковь, — сожжены. Вновь возродился Геленджик в 1864 году, как одна из станиц Шапсугского пешего берегового батальона. В самые короткие сроки был восстановлен и храм, стоящий на небольшой церковной площади в центре поселения. Храм входил в 20-й благочинный округ Кавказской епархии, и служил в нём всего один священник. К началу ХХ века деревянная церковь стала очень мала и неудобна для выросшего населения Геленджика. Весной 1905 года Геледжикское общественное самоуправление сдало подряд на строительство храма. 6 мая 1909 года, накануне храмового праздника Вознесения Господня, заново построенный храм освятил епископ Сухумский и Черноморский Дмитрий.
