FUKUSHIMA DOCUMENTARY PROJECT, ex JAPAN WEBDOC PROJECT, was launched by media-artist and filmmaker Keïko Courdy following March 11, 2011 mega-quake, tsunami and nuclear accident in Northern Japan. Since 2011 she wrote and directed a webdocumentary called www.yonaoshi 311.com with 20 short videos presented in an interactive interface developped by her associate Jérôme Sullerot.Today, only the black and white videos remains on this Youtube channel. She also wrote and directed a feature documentary film called AU-DELA DU NUAGE (Beyond the Cloud)*Yonaoshi 311 released in 2013, and a second feature documentary called L'ILE INVISIBLE (THE INVISIBLE ISLAND) released in 2021. During nearly ten years, Keïko has dedicated her life, trying to understand the situation with her own eyes, following inhabitants, and workers of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear power Plant in the exclusion zone, sharing the process at stake after a massive nuclear accident, looking for a Yonaoshi (revival of the world).
