Welcome to the Ultimate Basses YouTube channel. One of our main goals is to offer a comprehensive video library of all the instruments that pass through the shop. This will provide a detailed summary of what each bass sounds like, given its unique build characteristics. How often do we have customers call or E-mail asking what a bass will sound like if it has this, this and that? Given this conundrum, we came up with a creative solution. We have employed the expertise of bassist extraordinaire Jason Raso to provide commentary and his analysis so that our customers have a better understanding of how all the elements of a build shape the tone of a bass. Additionally, we`ll look at putting together a photo gallery of basses that have graced our shop. Look for examples from Fodera, Spector, MTD, Nordstrand, F Bass and Ken Smith.
