John Robert "Joe" Cocker, OBE (20 May 1944 – 22 December 2014) was an English rock and blues singer and musician who came to popularity in the 1960s. He was known for his gritty voice, spasmodic body movement in performance, and cover versions of popular songs, particularly those of The Beatles. We loved you forever, we will miss you always. For electric I Play single coil guitars, I think you get a more personalized voice, and more dynamics. Acoustic wise I have a Martin ooo, wicth I play a lot and it keeps sounding better. I just got an AER compact 60, wow that thing smokes! Will upload demo of it soon. I dont try to sound like anybody but yes we all copy here and there,that's the only way to learn. My last 2 bands-one was a all cover band songs from van halen to Donald fagen, very wide range. The other was a blues band we covered most srv songs and many other greats. After playing live you kind of "leave the original" and start playing your own version with respect of course to the original. I've been playing acoustic fingerstyle lately so more vids coming up Please note that i dont use a 5000$ guitar, and not a 2000$ mic, and I dont have the perfect setting, I just use the Zoom q3hd, and really wing it,and have fun, learn the song, and upload it.
