Vera, 2004 yılında 4 lise arkadaşı tarafından Denizli’de kuruldu. O yıllarda küçük bir prova stüdyosunda kaydedilen ve internete dağılan şarkıları konserler, demo kayıtlar ve nihayetinde Be ‘The Band’ Müzik Yarışması izledi. 2011 yılında Babajim Stüdyoları’nın düzenlediği yarışma ile grup, ilk kez ulusal basında yer buldu. Bugüne kadar yayınladığı 4 stüdyo albümü ve Mutluluk Reklamı, Saklanır Nisan ve Davetsiz gibi single'lar ile adından söz ettiren Vera, 2020’de Deniz Kabukları ve Sonsuza Kadar ile Türkçe Rock listelerinde peş peşe iki defa ilk sıraya yükseldi. Vera’nın 4. albümü İkinci Baskı 2024 yılında yayınlandı. Hatay Depremi'ni merkeze alan Göç, Bir Yangının Külünü yorumu, ve emre aydın düeti Hayaletler, albümün en dikkat çeken parçalarıydı. İkinci Baskı aynı zamanda grubun tamamını kendi stüdyosunda kaydettiği ilk albüm olma özelliğini taşıyordu. Vera, 2025’i kederli bir düet ile açtı. Vera & Simge Pınar düeti Yerlerdeyim, 21 Şubat’ta Avrupa Müzik etiketiyle yayınlandı.
