Lotfi Double Kanon Rappeur et producteur Autodidacte Slameur de génie, mi- imprécateur mi- prédicateur, ce géologue de profession, originaire d'Annaba, est sans doute le meilleur observateur de la société algérienne et de ses évolutions. Ses textes racontent les problèmes quotidiens des jeunes, le foisonnement de la vie urbaine et l'isolement des milieux ruraux. Il fustige autant le pouvoir que les maquisards, les laïcs que les intégristes, les corrompus que les corrupteurs. Prolifique (il a sorti plus de dix Sept albums en Quainze ans), père de la « Lotfilosophie », Lotfi est le seul rappeur qui s'écoute en famille. Ses colères sont saines et son enthousiasme, contagieux. Loin des grandes Maisons de Disques, Il peut se permettre de les éviter grâce à la gouaille de ses textes et, tout simplement, à son talent, qui assurent, à eux seuls, la promotion de ses productions. L'un des premiers groupes de rap d'Algérie a fait son apparition dans la ville d'Annaba au cours de l'année 1996.
