TTARANAK derives from Taranaki which is a name in use in the North Island of New Zealand, where the name has been borrowed from the region's main geographic feature, a mountain. =!=!=!=!=!=!=!= Jazz, Rock and Blues I see trees of green, red roses too, I see them bloom for me and you, and I think to myself what a wonderful world. =!=!=!=!=!=!=!= It took me a while to understand freedom, since I always had it. As a young teen, I honestly thought since I had it, everyone had it as well!! But when I grew up and learnt more about world wide history, and later-on about politics, I soon realised that many countries were deprived of what I took for granted. As in Canada, a huge part of this world takes freedom for granted, and don't know what it is to be imprisoned without Freedom! I stand here in solidarity to people that seek freedom!

Óscar es un compositor, guitarrista, productor y cantante chileno, el cual ha trabajado con figuras tan influyentes de la industria latina como el Multipremiado Productor Emilio Estefan o el Compositor Nicolás Tovar. Sus primeros pasos los dio junto a la banda de Jazz - Fusión “Proyecto Austral”, con quienes gana el "Festival de Bandas Jóvenes VIPRO”. Óscar a difundido su música con gran éxito en España y Latinoamérica y Usa, a través de canales de Tv como RTVE o MTV, también obtuvo el primer lugar en el "International Songwriten Competition" con su Sencillo "Hasta que te vi" que a su vez fue destacado ese año en la revista Billboard. En 2013 publicó “Abre El Camino” y alcanzó los primeros puestos en radios de Miami y España con “Hasta Que Te Vi”. Un año después, Óscar es invitado al ‘Billboard Latin Showcase and Conference 2014’ y participa en la ceremonia de los “Latin GRAMMY 2014" realizada en noviembre en Las Vegas.
