Royal treten an, ihre eigene Vision von Musik Wirklichkeit werden zu lassen und zwar unabhängig von jeder kommerziellen Bindung. Markant sind die deutschen Texte und die charakteristische Stimme von Frontmann Howie van Reupen. Im Grunde geht es um eine etwas aggressivere Spielart konventioneller Pop-Musik. Man könnte das Ganze auch als Synthie-Pop bezeichnen; hier und da scheint etwas Retro-Sound der 80'er und 90'er Jahre durch. Die Texte sind bei Eisenhertz ein nicht unwesentlicher Faktor.
